Kris Barnes

Kris is a project leader with 30 years of experience guiding complex mining and resource developments. He has worked in more than 45 countries, engaging with organisations and governments to deliver milestone-driven projects. His career has included strategic planning, investor relations, media communication for multiple stock markets, project management, offtake agreements and stakeholder engagement.

In Greenland, Kris has served as project leader on initiatives including Isua Iron Ore, Sarfartoq Niobium, Tanbreez Rare Earths, and the Black Angel lead–zinc–silver project.

Beyond technical oversight, he has held negotiations at board level with international organisations, integrating financial management, operational delivery and narrative architecture into project execution. He adapts messaging for regulators, investors and local communities.

His long-term vision is to establish the Disko Rare Earth Project as a model for responsible, community-partnered mining in Greenland.

Managing Director

Kevin Nichol

Kevin has over 35 years’ experience in the securities, finance and minerals industries, having worked as an adviser, financial analyst and stockbroker, and as managing director and chief executive of several listed companies whose resource projects have been in Greenland, Tunisia, Uganda, Indonesia and Australia.

He understands the operational and exploration side of the business and has also been active in derivatives, futures and commodities for futures and commodity brokers at institutional level. Kevin has been involved in listing many ASX companies and brings planning, budgeting, corporate governance and exploration-planning experience to the company.

Non-Executive Director

Roger Blow

Roger brings to the board more than 27 years of experience as a commercial lawyer, having worked for a number of international and national law firms in Australia and the United Kingdom. For the past 13 years he has been the Practice Director at Cove Legal, a boutique commercial litigation firm in Perth, Western Australia.

Roger’s prior board experience has included the technology and retail cosmetics sectors. His practice as a lawyer in Western Australia has involved extensive dispute and contract work in the mining, oil and gas, energy, media and taxation sectors, including prior client matters relating to Greenlandic mining exploration rights.

Roger is a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and brings corporate governance and regulatory experience to the Disko board.
